Blue players can spend up to three years developing their skills on smaller courts at a pace that suits them. Designed for children aged 3 to 5, the program serves as a launchpad into the Hot Shots pathway. This stage helps children become familiar with the size and bounce of the Hot Shots Red court and ball, while placing a strong emphasis on developing fundamental movement skills and perceptual–motor coordination.

Hot Shots Red (5-8yrs)

Like Hot Shots Blue, Red players can spend up to three years developing their skills on modified courts at a pace that suits them. As players grow in confidence and ability, they will naturally begin to meet the playing standards required to progress through the Hot Shots pathway and into squad-level training.
Hot Shots Red is our entry-level class for Red Ball players and is ideal for first-time players or children with a small amount of prior tennis experience. Players focus on developing all fundamental tennis skills, including rallying, serving, coming to the net, scoring and competing.

Hot Shots Orange (8-10yrs)

Hot Shots Orange follows on from the Red stage, with courts increased in size to approximately three-quarter length of a standard adult tennis court. This progression allows players to continue developing their skills while gradually adjusting to greater court coverage and movement demands.
Sessions focus on developing all fundamental tennis skills, including rallying, serving, coming to the net, and learning how to score and compete in match-play situations.
After mastering the Orange Hot Shots stage, players move on to the Green stage, where the ball bounces higher (75% compression) and the court size increases further in preparation for full-court tennis.
Court size: 6.4m × 18.29m (approximately three-quarter court)
Ball: Orange ball (50% compression)

Hot Shots Green (9+yrs)

Hot Shots Green follows on from the Orange stage and serves as the gateway to full-court tennis. Players now train and play on a full-size court, using a higher-compression ball, while continuing to refine their technique, movement, and tactical awareness.
Sessions focus on consolidating all fundamental tennis skills, including rallying, serving, coming to the net, and scoring and competing. Players are also introduced to early competition opportunities, helping them build confidence in match play and prepare for the transition to yellow-ball tennis.
After completing the Green stage, players are ready to move into full tennis and competition pathways.
