What if it’s raining or too hot?
In the event of extreme weather conditions — such as heavy rain or excessive heat (temperatures exceeding 35°C) — the cancellation of tennis lessons will be at the coach’s discretion. You will be notified of any cancellations via text message or through our Facebook and Instagram pages (@btperformancetennis). A make-up lesson will be offered as an alternative. We recommend following our social pages to stay up to date.
What if I can’t make my lesson?
We require a minimum of 12 hours’ notice for any missed session in order to be eligible for a make-up lesson. Please note that we allow a maximum of 2 make-up lessons for last-minute cancellations — any additional missed sessions beyond this will be forfeited. To notify us of an absence, please contact your coach directly via text message.
How do I re-enrol for the next term?
At the end of each term, all clients are automatically re-enrolled in their current lesson and time slot. If you’d like to make changes or cancel, please provide at least 2 weeks’ notice before the term ends — otherwise
standard charges will apply.
How do I pay for my class?
We use a direct debit payment system through Payrix by Worldpay. Once you confirm your spot, we’ll get you set up with direct debit details. Payments are processed 24 hours before each class, in line with our cancellation policy.
Do you offer a free trial?
We don't currently offer free trials. However, we'd love for you to reach out and ask about our upcoming programs — we run group classes each term and you're welcome to contact us to discuss the best option for your child before committing.
What types of classes do you offer?
We offer a range of programs to suit different ages and skill levels, including group classes, private lessons, and Hot Shots (for younger children). Visit our Services page for full details on what's available near you.
What should my child wear or bring to class?
Please ensure your child wears comfortable, active clothing and appropriate footwear (sports shoes or tennis shoes are ideal). They should bring a water bottle and, if they have their own racquet, they're welcome to bring it along — though we can provide one if needed.
What is your fees and payment policy?
Fees are charged on a term basis. Payment is due upon enrolment. Your spot is not confirmed until payment has been received. Please refer to our Policies section below for full details on fees and cancellations.
Do you take photos or videos during lessons?
We may occasionally take photos or short videos during lessons for use on our social media pages and website. If you would prefer your child not to be photographed, please let your coach know and we'll make sure to respect that preference at all times.
What if my child has an injury or medical condition?
Please inform your coach of any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations before your child's first lesson. We want to ensure every session is safe and appropriate for your child's needs. In some cases, we may recommend consulting a medical professional before participating.

Policies
Weather Policy
In the event of extreme weather conditions such as rain and excessive heat (>35°C), and at the coach’s discretion, you will be notified of any cancellation of tennis lessons through our Facebook/Instagram page or via text message. In such cases, an alternative makeup lesson will be offered.
Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 12 hours' notice for any missed tennis session in order to be eligible for a makeup lesson. We will allow a maximum of 2 makeup lessons for last-minute cancellations; any more than that will result in forfeiture of the session. At the end of the term, all clients will be automatically re-enrolled in the same lesson and timeslot, unless we are notified of any changes. If you wish to make changes or cancel your lesson, we require a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice, otherwise, charges will apply.
Fees Policy
All term fees must be paid by the end of the second week of each term or by the due date stated on the invoice. Any discounts offered are no longer applicable if invoices are paid after this date. Failure to pay your fees will result in a reminder notice. If fees are not received within 7 days after the final notice, your account will be forwarded to our collection agency. In such cases, additional charges may be applied, and it is the client's responsibility to cover these charges. Furthermore, non-payment will result in the loss of your timeslot, which may be assigned to a new client.
Video and Photography
By joining the BT Performance Tennis team, you consent to the participation of all listed students in tennis lessons conducted by BT Performance Tennis and acknowledge that they may be featured on the BT Performance Website, Facebook, and Instagram pages.
Free Trials
Any offers of free lessons will be conducted in a group class format only. No private sessions will be offered for free.
Medical and Liability
To the best of your knowledge and belief, the Participant is currently in good health. Please inform our tennis coaches of any injuries or medical conditions that may hinder full participation in a tennis lesson. You acknowledge that the activities in which the participant will be involved are energetic and physically demanding and may carry some level of risk (e.g., running and jumping). In the event of an accident, you request that the instructors secure emergency services if deemed necessary. You agree to cover any additional expenses associated with such actions. You have independently decided, with or without medical advice, that the participant is physically, socially, and mentally capable of participating, and you understand that any required medical or accident insurance is your responsibility to obtain.
Direct Debit Terms and Conditions
Furthermore, by proceeding, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms of these policies and hereby release BT Performance Tennis and its employees from liability for any damages, injuries, or losses that may occur while the Participant is participating in tennis lessons with BT Performance Tennis.
